Paint Finish Unpainted Tabletop Ready Heroic Tabletop Display Finish

Made to order — prepared before dispatch

A black dragon from the Dungeon Guild range by Cast n Play. Wings mantled, head low over the ground — the shape a party sees just before the breath weapon. Printed to order in Croatia and supplied unpainted.

Why this piece matters

Make the table stop for a second.

Some models are not just enemies. They are the moment everyone remembers: the boss reveal, the shelf centerpiece, the paint project you keep looking back at.

Ideal for boss encounters and dramatic campaign scenes
Strong as a display piece or painting challenge
Made for hobbyists who love a big table moment

If this product is listed as unpainted, it is also a quiet paint-desk project: prime it, choose the mood, and make it yours.

Black Dragon Miniature is a high-quality 3D printed fantasy miniature from Vault of Delights, made for tabletop campaigns, painting projects, and display.

Printed miniature, made for the table

This is a physical resin print from Vault of Delights, made for D&D, Pathfinder, tabletop RPGs, fantasy wargaming, display painting, and collector shelves. It ships from Croatia and can now ship to the EU, the US, and selected international destinations.

Finish, painting queue, and timing

Unpainted: printed and prepared for your own hobby project. This is usually the fastest option.
Tabletop Ready: clean colors, readable details, and shading for play. Allow about 1 extra week when the painting queue is active.
Heroic Tabletop: stronger highlights, accents, and character focus. Allow about 2 extra weeks.
Display Finish: centrepiece work for bosses, gifts, and shelves. Allow about 3 extra weeks.

Painting is hand-finished work, so timing depends on the current queue. If you need a figure for a fixed date, contact us before ordering and we will confirm what is realistic.

Scale, resizing, and custom requests

Standard sizing follows the listed product measurements where available. If you choose a custom scale, we review it before printing. Larger scales can require extra resin and time; smaller scales can still need setup and support work.

Shipping from Croatia - US shipping available

Standard international shipping uses Croatian Post where available. US buyers can order again; customs, import duties, taxes, carrier handling, or local fees may apply depending on destination rules and are the buyer's responsibility unless checkout explicitly says otherwise. For safer or faster delivery, contact us before or after ordering and we can quote an insured courier upgrade at cost.

A physical miniature. Choose your preferred finish and check the listing for scale and production details.

The story

Black Dragon Miniature — Dungeon Guild

The black does not negotiate, does not hoard for display and has never been photographed, painted or accurately described.

Everything the guild knows about it is inference: the state of the water, the absence of anything living for four miles, the specific way the two expeditions that went in stopped sending word. The guild's file on it is the thickest in the archive and contains not a single confirmed sighting.

The standing recommendation has been unchanged for sixty years and consists of one word.

Black is the hardest colour on the shelf — build it out of very dark blues and greens rather than grey, keep the highlights tight, and let the only wet gloss be the mouth.
