The story

Executioner Wyrm Daughters Miniatures — Dragon Seekers

The Wyrm Daughters carry out sentences the Sage Council has already passed, and they are never told why.

It is deliberate, and the Council has defended it in open session more than once: an executioner who knows the reasoning will eventually weigh it, and a Daughter who weighs it is a Daughter making a second judgement on a matter that has already been decided. So they receive a name, a place, and nothing else. Several have resigned over it. The Council has never changed the practice.

They are treated with enormous respect and are not invited to very much.

Ceremonial and cold — formal plate kept immaculate, one order colour, and a deliberately unreadable face beneath the helm.
