The story

Tempest Guard Dragonborn Miniatures — Dragon Seekers

The Tempest Guard exist because the second expedition was lost to weather rather than to anything living.

Nine generations later they are still the unit that goes out when the sky is the problem — storm country, open water, the high passes in the wrong season. Their training is half soldiering and half seamanship, and their equipment is built around staying functional in conditions that stop everyone else. They have the lowest casualty rate in the Seekers and the highest refusal rate for expeditions they consider badly planned.

The Council has never once overruled a Tempest Guard refusal.

Wet is the effect to chase — soaked cloth clinging differently from armour, gloss where water would sit, and a cold desaturated palette with one storm-light accent.
